Moreton Island Whale watching

We went to Moreton Island this past week with Neil, Christine and Kids to do a whale watching tour.  The Humpback whales have just given birth to their calves, and they are on their way down to the Antarctic for the summer.

Moreton is a beautiful spot with huge beaches (the entire island is sand).  And yes, it is true, Queensland sells sand to Hawaii.

We went out on a very nice Catamaran with Brisbane Whale watching tours

You can 4 wheel drive straight up the beaches

They were breaching all day long - Awesome
